GE Washer Error Codes
GE front- and top-load washers show an E-code or short abbreviation when a cycle stalls. Here are the common ones and their fixes.
E23
Means: Drain problem — water isn't draining.
Fix: Clean the drain pump filter and check the drain hose for clogs and kinks.

Means: Long drain / drain restriction.
